Attention Mechanism is a concept in artificial intelligence that helps the computer focus on specific parts of the information it’s looking at, just like how you might pay more attention to a loud noise or a bright light in a room full of things.
Imagine you’re in a classroom and the teacher is talking about a lot of different things. But, you’re most interested in the part where she talks about what’s going to be on the test. So, you pay more attention to that part and remember it more than the rest of what she’s saying. That’s kind of like what an attention mechanism does in an AI system. It helps the AI decide what information is most important to focus on.
